“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” —Maya Angelou”
My Love Of Reading Began Under A Mattress
As a child, I was so eager to read that I hid picture books during nap time—sleep could wait. That early obsession with classics, mysteries, and fantasies eventually transformed from a love of reading, into a passion for writing.
The Spark
For me, writing is more than putting words on a page; it is a profound exploration of creativity. Every journey begins with that first spark of inspiration—whether from a pencil in hand, or fingers tapping on a keyboard. My stories are crafted from imagination and enriched by life’s colorful experiences, ranging from whimsical fantasy worlds to gripping voyages into reality.
How I Create
I believe inspiration can strike anywhere. On a cold winter morning, watching ravens roost on a rooftop might suddenly materialize into an entire Universe of magick, portals, and talking pets.
The Process: I start with my “wildfire of creativity”—notebooks filled with character names, outlines, and opening chapters where new worlds take root.
Naming Characters: I choose names based on their meanings to ensure they fit the character’s soul. Many of my books include a special index at the back explaining these meanings for readers.
The Voice: I write in the third-person omniscient style. I prefer this perspective because it allows me to tell complex stories about flawed characters without forcing the reader to inhabit those who commit acts of violence or deceit.
On the Journey
My debut novel was written over three years—a period of constant learning, revision, and growth. The story evolved as I wrote, teaching me that the best narratives are often the ones that change shape along the way. Having navigated these twists and turns, I am committed to continuing this craft for as many years as life permits.
A Note to Readers & Fellow Writers
To my readers: I hope you find my stories intriguing, unique, and worthy of your time.
To my fellow authors: Despite the challenges we face, always remember why we started. We write to express our ideas through stories. And doing what we love? That is the incredible part.
