Welcome To My World… 
Okay, it’s not really a world, but a place where I kick off my shoes, and have a cup of tea, while inventing scenarios about ordinary people having extraordinary experiences – with a touch of magick.
After all, how much do you really know about your neighbors, or the strangers you encounter when running errands, while perusing shelves at the bookstore, or enjoying your favorite brew at the coffee shop?
That nice older couple upstairs could be conjuring up a hailstorm, because the kids downstairs won’t stop screaming underneath their window – they just won’t listen to reason. Or the couple next door leading a seemingly mundane life may be using magikal items to change their circumstances. There could even be middle school best friends in your neighborhood, who’ve formed a club and gone on adventures – into another realm.
The next time you’re engaged in daily activities, pay attention to your surroundings, because you just might encounter something out of place, something magikal.
My favorites genres are mysteries– historical, dual timelines, present day, gothic, paranormal, supernatural, fantasy, adventure, suspense, thrillers … I really enjoy following the clues, red herrings, and the trail of tidbits that lead to the outcome – the resolution.
I like how a mystery draws the reader in and keeps them hanging until the end; this makes the book difficult to put down. This also makes for many a late night when the mind begs just one more page, and then its 4 AM – the “who done it” that keeps us reading from cover to cover.
I enjoy writing about characters and their unusual lives. My stories are fantasy with a touch of magick. Characters will be in a place where they possess knowledge that cannot be explained, magickal abilities, other worlds, the ability to talk to and understand animals, or even solving a 1000-year old mystery… The possibilities are endless!
My favorite authors are James Rollins, Kate Quinn, Andrew Taylor, Benedict Jacka, Kerry Greenwood, Haruki Murakami, and Katherine Webb, to name a few.
I also enjoy Anime, too many to list here.
